The Homestead Institute is a farm/homestead where everyone helps out. Their mission is to assist friends, customers and neighbors in becoming more connected to their food supply, gain access to high quality local food & become more self sufficient. The farm is almost 10 acres and they are currently farming about an acre for a mix of fruits & vegetables. They raise and sell fat hogs, milk goats, and a variety of poultry including laying hens.
